Lydia Postpill is an emergency contraceptive used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or contraceptive failure. It contains levonorgestrel, a synthetic hormone that works mainly by preventing or delaying ovulation. It is most effective when taken as soon as possible, preferably within 72 hours after unprotected sex.
